Dissonant Monk is a rock band lead by former Portlander Eric Eiden. We recorded DM at the Axe and Fiddle in Cottage Grove Oregon on Cinco de Mayo 2007. The recording consists of five lines outs we took out from the main mixer and a stereo microphone that we used to pick up the high end of the drums and audience ambience. DM is planning on recording a full-length album in the winter of 2008.

Bobby D began creating what is known as Lusty Leaf in the limbs of the Willamette Valley in the late 90’s. His passion for many types of music including Noise was realized in his many years with KWVA radio. As his understanding of music and culture began to expand so did his band. His new album, Wide Open World has now been laid down to track through the hands of his friend and bandmate Nico. The alum is due to be distributed through bicycle records, Olympia Washington. Lusty Leaf has done numerous stereo recordings with dexterous productions, including Live at Dive in the spring of 2006.

“Listening to Travis Magrane and 67th Avenue will lead you, like the best of winding and expansive roads, both through city streets and dark alleys … and there, under the stars, Magrane’s songs ask: what are we all searching for? … In an age of over-produced, emotionally vacant music, Portland, OR based electric trio 67th Avenue offers a bare bones record that is as musically tight as lyrically inspired. These tunes will linger in your mind for days.”
67th avenue just finished recording their first album this summer. The album was recorded, produced, and mastered by Clemeth Abercrombie with help from Dexterous Productions.
